A Patient’s Mother is Raising Awareness
Two years ago, Tiffany Johnson’s 19-year old son Dunstan spent three months in the ICU at Suburban Hospital after being shot in the head during a home invasion on Apr. 1, 2017. Tiffany recently returned to Suburban to film b-roll footage and take photos for a documentary and educational film she is producing called The Listen Up Conversation.
“My son nearly died. The incident happened as a result of a bad decision that he made. He's a miracle, and I'm sharing his story with other young people to help them avoid making the same mistake.”
The video will be incorporated into a program aimed at helping at-risk teenagers and young people to recognize the impact of their choices and to make wise decisions. The video will be shared with schools, youth groups and communities across the country.
